My DIY journey started after being diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. My health was so unpredictable on the daily that I left my paralegal job and went back to my love of creating, painting and making beautiful decor out of everyday thrift store finds. I found painting and creating very theraputic. Over the next two years, my love for staging, decorating and repurposing turned into a very successful boutique. I’m not a businesswoman, I’m just a creative that finds joy in making pretty things. I decided to give up my boutique and focus on my health and the things that bring me joy, so here I am, sharing my projects and connecting with others just like me. I hope I can inspire you to try new things.
I truly enjoy and love teaching DIY. In my boutique, I just wanted to be in the back making and creating. I love the interaction with people and joy that comes from the before and after. You can always reach out with questions and I love seeing your before and after projects, they truly inspire me!
I love the design and style of furniture from Pottery Barn and I love the challenge of trying to recreate their designs on my furniture. My style is primarily French Country, a little old with the new.
